I have the pleasure of introducing UpSpring Baby to the blogging world and I must say I’m as excited as ever about the opportunity. We’re a small start-up based in awesome Austin, Texas, and we have some dynamite products both on the market (like milkscreen and walking wings) and coming down the pipeline. We fancy ourselves as cutting edge, savvy group of folks that’s trying to make life easier for both Mom and Baby.

Entering the social media realm doesn’t seem like a big step for us since we’re small and move fast, but in all reality it’s huge. Why is that, you ask? Well, our products reside in the health, wellness, and safety categories and we want nothing more than for parents to understand that their baby’s well-being is always top-of-mind for us. We have to walk a fine line of letting people know who we are here at UpSpring Baby while also letting parents know that we’re working our tails off with physicians, laboratories, chemists, regulatory agencies, and vendors to provide the safest and most medically-sound products possible. Most people are interested in the real lives of the inventors behind a product, but at the same time we understand your need to know that we’re taking the necessary steps to ensure our products deserve to provide health, wellness, and safety to your baby.

Now, to introduce myself, I’m Gillian Robb. I’ve been with UpSpring Baby as the milkscreen Product Manager for the past couple of years and I hope to work for this amazing organization for several more. I’m going to do my best to organize this blog to provide you with insight on both a personal and corporate level. I’ll introduce you to our UpSpring gang, and I’ll do my best to provide you with whatever details I can about our upcoming products (insert minor lecture from my boss here, but I’ll figure out how to work my way around her). You won’t always be hearing from me, but in the end, I’m certain you’ll find that to be a good thing! I may be the inside voice of UpSpring Baby here for a bit, but like I said, we’re small and we move fast so sometimes I don’t even know what city I’ll be in by the end of the week. We support each other around here, however, so I know we’ll have plenty of people jumping at the chance to reach out and say hello through their own personal musings. All of us here at UpSpring Baby are sincerely looking forward to this journey.
